Primary Responsibilities And Duties

  • Oversight of production schedule to meet scheduled delivery.
  • Setup of test equipment including Network Analyzers, Hi-Pot Testers, Digital Multimeters.
  • Validation of cable RF performance using RF Network Analyzers.
  • RF / Coax cable assembly tasks such as hand soldering, stripping, crimping, heat shrinking, etc.
  • Collaboration with other cable assemblers in all work cells to meet production needs.
  • Performing tasks such as wire stripping, tin dipping, soldering, crimping, labelling, testing, etc.
  • Utilization of assembly tools and fixtures like arbor presses and captivation equipment.
  • Reading, interpreting, and following basic drawings, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
  • Conducting quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

PREREQUISITES

  • 3-5 years of experience in producing RF connector and/or coaxial cable assemblies (preferred).
  • Experience as a lead operator (preferred).
  • IPC-620, J-Std-001 certifications a big plus.
  • Experience with soldering, cable stripping equipment, and RF VNA testing.
  • Experience with quality measurement tools such as drop indicators, calipers, micrometers, etc.
