Primary Responsibilities And Duties
- Oversight of production schedule to meet scheduled delivery.
- Setup of test equipment including Network Analyzers, Hi-Pot Testers, Digital Multimeters.
- Validation of cable RF performance using RF Network Analyzers.
- RF / Coax cable assembly tasks such as hand soldering, stripping, crimping, heat shrinking, etc.
- Collaboration with other cable assemblers in all work cells to meet production needs.
- Performing tasks such as wire stripping, tin dipping, soldering, crimping, labelling, testing, etc.
- Utilization of assembly tools and fixtures like arbor presses and captivation equipment.
- Reading, interpreting, and following basic drawings, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
- Conducting quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
PREREQUISITES
- 3-5 years of experience in producing RF connector and/or coaxial cable assemblies (preferred).
- Experience as a lead operator (preferred).
- IPC-620, J-Std-001 certifications a big plus.
- Experience with soldering, cable stripping equipment, and RF VNA testing.
- Experience with quality measurement tools such as drop indicators, calipers, micrometers, etc.
