About the role

Assembly and Maintenance team members are responsible for assembling manufactured components for customer delivery. This role also provides internal maintenance support for company equipment and participates in the maintenance or refurbishment of company and customer agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment, including returning tools to storage areas.
• Follows all company and common-sense safety policies, using required personal safety equipment and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Performs basic and complex diagnostics on agricultural, construction, and diesel equipment to determine needed repairs or future maintenance.
• Completes all service reports and forms (inspection reports, work orders) accurately and timely, using computers/tablets for data entry.
• Ensures management is aware of any issues impacting customer billing or satisfaction and maintains accurate timekeeping for job costing.
• Performs repairs on equipment (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, diesel) with accountability for quality and efficiency.
• Participates in job-related training and development, improving skills through additional programs.
• Works collaboratively with other technicians, parts, and sales personnel; mentors apprentices and junior technicians.
• Available for after-hours or weekend work as required by customer deadlines or agricultural seasonality.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Owns a mechanic toolset appropriate for the required work.
• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of agricultural, automotive, and lifting equipment.

Pay

Starting wage from $16.50 - $21 per hour.

Schedule

40+ hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday. Additional availability may be required due to customer deadlines and agricultural seasonality.
