Assembly Lead

Position Summary

Captures the essence of the role, coordinating and directing the production team to enhance productivity and maintain quality.

Job Description

• Assigns work and reviews metrics
• Solves escalated production problems
• Trains other assembly workers
• Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and quality standards
• Repairs or refits parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels
• Keeps daily assembly production records
• Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general supervision

Qualifications

• Typical High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• 8+ years of related experience

Skills

• Soldering training certified
