Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly and test operations on our satellite production line.
- Assemble and inspect electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies.
- Set up and execute functional and performance tests of electronics components and systems.
- Participate in anomaly/failure investigation and resolution.
- Provide feedback on designs and processes; participate in process improvement activities.
- Support other assembly and test activities across the company such as wire harnesses, printed circuit assemblies, etc.
- Fine-pitch soldering, wire harness assembly and repair, epoxy/adhesive application, and mechanical assembly
Requirements
- Previous experience with lab equipment (multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- At least two years of experience in at least two of the following areas: wire harness assembly, PCA assembly and test, mechanical assembly, epoxy/adhesive preparation and application, electromechanical component, and/or system testing.
- Able to perform moderate physical labor involving standing for extended durations, reaching and bending, etc. and to work to a schedule and follow directions.
- Capability to work in a dynamic, multi-task, environment with frequently shifting priorities and technical challenges.
- The ability to think independently while also embracing communication among a large and diverse set of project and company stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Person.
Preferred Qualifications
- J-STD-001 soldering certification.
- Previous experience (2-4 years) working on spaceflight hardware.
- Experience with environmental test equipment.
