Assembly Hydro Tester - Contingent Worker

About the role

This is a temporary position through an agency. The Assembly personnel will assemble skid units and industrial equipment, interpret assembly drawings and measurements, operate weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools. You must be willing to assist individuals from other departments with function testing, hydrostatic testing of pressure components, and alignment of rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of skid units and industrial equipment.
• Interpreting assembly drawings and measurements.
• Operate weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Demonstrate good communication and organizational skills.
• Maintain professionalism and consistency in personal behavior.
• Apply knowledge of hand tools and basic production machinery.
• Undergo additional training as required to stay updated on new tools or techniques.
• Maintain a strong safety awareness attitude.
• Assist individuals from other departments with function testing, hydrostatic testing of pressure components, and alignment of rotating equipment.

Requirements

• Some experience working with rotating equipment.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to operate industrial machinery.
• Understand measurements and assembly drawings.
• Operate industrial machinery properly.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Working Conditions

• Shop environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (must pass physical and lift assessment).
• Day or night shift with possible overtime hours.
