Engineer, Contingent Worker

About the role

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring an Engineer for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget
• Create scope of work, bid package and project specifications
• Review technical drawings, provide feedback, negotiate changes
• Evaluate safety compliance to local and national codes
• Collaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors
• Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones
• Supervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment
• Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Experience with bid specification development and contractor negotiations
• 2+ years of technical drawing review experience

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
• Toyota project management experience (preferred)
• Automotive paint process experience (preferred)
• Ability to understand, analyze, and calculate utility costs (preferred)

Pay

$30.00 - $45.00/Hr.
