Assembly - Field Service

Responsibilities

• Perform 'advisory' services using hand tools for dismantling, setup, measurements, and analysis of guide systems.
• Maintain the design criteria established by Danieli design engineers.
• Discuss changes to equipment with Danieli management before suggesting any changes.
• Control the work site to ensure safety and meet objectives.
• Identify and research drawings and other data to resolve customer problems or questions.
• Work within customary MS Office software for assignments, filing, and archiving of work.
• Evaluate site information and develop respective drawings and data.
• Keep records of work performed after assignments.
• Have customers sign worksheets depicting hours and objectives performed.
• Submit timesheets, expenses, and customer reports to engineer within 3 business days.
• Use company-provided data systems for time and expense reporting.

Technical Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience in industrial maintenance, such as automotive service technician/mechanic, or equivalent experience.
• Solid technical knowledge and experience.
• Able to solve most technical issues with minimal direction.
• Able to communicate technical issues effectively to customers.
• Able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Soft Skills

• Experience with multiple activities with minimum direction.
• Able to abide by OSHA Safety Standards.
• Able to travel up to 70% internationally or domestically for training, customer sites, and vendor workshops.
