Assembler (US Citizen)

Location: Owego, NY 13827

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour on W2

12-month contract with potential extension – 4/10 second shift

About the role

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Responsibilities

• Work from diagrams and drawings
• Make initial layouts
• Use hand and/or power tools
• Perform continuity checks on work in process and completed
• Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
