Assembler TN-2nd Shift

About the role

This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor and is responsible for the fulfillment of all assigned duties related to the assembly of Fifth Wheels and Stationary Mounts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fifth wheels and stationary mounts
• Perform grinding operations
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions
• Adhere to quality, environmental, safety, and company policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned or logically inherent to the position

Requirements

• Ability to work with hand tools, mechanical tools, and various equipment accurately and safely
• Ability to read and write legibly for inventory counts and labeling
• Effective communication skills with solid factual information
• Ability to work as an effective team member and follow direction from leads and supervision
• Willingness to learn about company products

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed 100% of the time in a production plant environment
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, bend, and twist
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
