Assembler Tester - 1st Shift

About the role

As an Assembler Tester, you will accurately assemble and test moderately complex aerospace products, including mechanical components and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, assembly routes, and test specifications.
• Perform lockwiring, subassembly, and final detailing.
• Record test results using electrical and measurement equipment.
• Identify malfunctions and rework as instructed.
• Ensure assemblies conform to specifications.
• Perform surface finishing tasks such as painting.
• Actively contribute to lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of aerospace manufacturing or mechanical experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, performing basic math, and using mechanical/electronic tools.
• Strong mechanical reasoning, teamwork, communication, and computer skills.
• Soldering certification may be necessary.
• Ability to interpret reports and implement lean practices.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity.
