Our facility is environmentally controlled, engineered for manufacturing flexibility, includes dedicated assembly labs for isolated program management, and a cleanroom facility. With dedicated professionals and assemblers regularly operating two full shifts, ISC operates with the most current high-speed tooling, material handling, and test equipment.

About the Role

The Assembly Technician II role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fountain Valley, CA. This role is responsible for assembling cable assemblies, harnesses, and related interconnect products according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include using hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly, soldering and terminating components, and inspecting parts for defects or deviations from specifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow established production processes and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
• Hands-on experience with soldering and basic electrical connections for cable and harness assembly.
• Skills in mechanical assembly, including reading and following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.
• Knowledge of quality control practices, including visual inspection and basic measurement techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain attention to detail, and meet production deadlines.
• Willingness to work on-site in Fountain Valley, CA and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and handling small components throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with cable assemblies, wire harnesses, connectors, overmolding, or electromechanical assemblies.
• Experience leading or supporting prototype builds, pilot runs, FAI, and production launches.

Pay

$44,720 - $50,960/year

Schedule

• 1st Shift - 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• 2nd Shift - 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
