Assembler - PCB, 1st Shift

Responsibilities
- Read MOS drawings and ECO's while also receiving verbal instructions regarding work assignments
- Route and lace cables; Attach hardware and seals assembly
- Replace defective components and wiring
- Repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel
- Measure and cut wire, cable, outer jacket on cable, and inner wire on cable to required length
- Strip insulation off inner wires
- Perform wire termination and crimp terminals on the end of wires both manually and by machine
- Solder terminals and plugs on the ends of wire
- Assemble plugs, connectors, and unique parts onto the cable or wire
- Wear all safety equipment, follow safety rules and support, and promote safety in the work areas
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a normal workday or on weekends, as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years cable assembly/electronic assembly experience preferred
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with small components
Pay & Schedule
- Starting rate: $20.50 with opportunities for advancement in level and pay
- 1st shift: 5:45am–2:15pm, Monday–Friday
