Assembler - Mechanical III
About the role
The Assembler – Mechanical III plays a key role in assembling electro-mechanical components and subassemblies in alignment with documented processes and Bills of Material (BOM). The role involves performing functional testing based on customer specifications and engineering standards, using hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment to complete high-accuracy builds. Soldering skills and fine-detail craftsmanship are also applied to support component and wiring assembly. The assembler ensures parts and assemblies comply with quality and performance criteria, maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and collaborates with team members to support continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to documented procedures and BOM requirements
- Perform functional testing based on customer specifications and engineering standards
- Use hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment to complete high-accuracy builds
- Apply hands-on soldering skills to support component and wiring assembly
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and performance criteria
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established processes
- Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement activities
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in soldering and small-parts assembly
- Proficiency in using hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and an ownership mindset
- The ability to sit/stand for extended periods and handle small components with fine motor control
