Assembler, Line Leader 2nd Shift
About the role
Belimo is seeking an Assembler Line Leader to support the Assembly Department to ensure efficiencies of all required processes. The Assembler Line Leader reports directly to Group Leader and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the assembly team with direction from the Group Leader
- Supports production positions with work assignments as needed
- Accurately picks necessary parts for production orders
- Assembles, checks, and packages sub-components and finished products according to instruction, production order, work and inspection instructions as well as drawings in a quality and schedule-minded fashion
- Executes special tasks within assembly process
- Covers work assignments as needed
- Cooperate within assembly team
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- Average manual dexterity (hand to eye coordination)
- Mechanical ability necessary
- Must be able to lift up to 44 lbs. (20kg)
- Operate manufacturing equipment and simple electronic test equipment
- Deal with time constraints and deadlines; skills with manipulating multiple priorities; sense of urgency
- Ability to use computers and other electronic interface equipment (i.e. scan guns, printers)
