Assembler III

About the role

The Assembler III position at Konami Gaming is responsible for assembling, disassembling, modifying, and repairing machines and component parts. This role involves final assembly and testing of finished slot machines, training new hires, and performing quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Positions and assembles parts for game machines according to work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sample visual aids.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners using hand and/or power tools or specialized equipment.
• Disassembles and partially or completely disassembles game machines and various assemblies or component parts for all products.
• Trains new hires in best practices policies and procedures.
• Makes modifications or repairs as directed or indicated by the state of configuration of machines and/or assemblies or component parts, using hand and/or power tools and specialized equipment.
• Sets up or takes down workstation daily or as required, ensuring the area is clean and organized, tools are stored, power tools are charged, the floor is swept, and debris is disposed.
• Assists in the loading and unloading of machines to and from transportation carriers.
• Communicates problems, concerns, method improvements, product or specification change recommendations, and work status to management personnel.
• Maintains expected output quantity/productivity of production line.
• Maintains high standard of quality over 90%.
• Performs final quality assurance.
• Skilled in all aspects of trouble shooting.
• Participates fully in company health and safety programs and complies with all OSHA policies and procedures.
• Reports to Production Supervisor and/or Lead on duty any discrepancies or problems requiring resolution.
• Always complies with the company’s regulatory guidelines and corporate policies.
• Follows all lawful employer safety and health rules.
• Reports hazardous conditions to Production Supervisor or Lead on duty at the time of incident.
• Reports any job-related injury or illness to management and seeks treatment promptly.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products, and employee information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical certification is required.
• 6 years of working experience in a mechanical or technical manufacturing role is required.
• Demonstrated ability to build and configure multiple product types, including trouble shooting within time and quality standards.
• Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the business.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
• Knowledge of data entry software.
• Knowledge of torque wrenches, electrical workmanship standards.

Qualifications
