About the Role

This position involves performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes for aircraft parts in a manual manufacturing assembly line environment. You will assemble assemblies and sub-assemblies using basic assembly tools, instruments, and equipment daily.

Responsibilities

• Use standard assembly hand tools, common power tools, and continuity test equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Prepare wires for assembly by measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning, and attaching contacts, lugs, and other terminal devices using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
• Apply and handle sealants and adhesives.
• Perform less complex acceptance test procedures using specific test equipment.
• Work in a team environment, participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a production environment or equivalent business environment.
• Proficiency with all basic hand tools, ohmmeters, and basic power tools.
• Ability to understand and interpret schematics.
• Ability to work with standard tolerances (allowances, limits, and fits) and perform advanced math calculations.
• Complete knowledge of related aircraft hardware, including rivets, screws, and bolts (NAS, MS, AN, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
