Assembler II - Final Assembly
Role Overview and Responsibilities
Responsible for final circuit board preparation and coating process. Key Responsibilities:
- perform final assembly requirements on customer products
- install various types of hardware, adhesives and other items per manufacturing instructions
- follow requirements for Set up, 1st piece inspection and in-process audits
- demonstrate proper handling precautions when working with process chemicals and materials
- prep/unprep basic components from steps in manufacturing instructions
- identify different types of RTV’s/conformal coatings and mark storage containers properly
- review shelf life and pot life requirements of adhesives and conformal coatings prior to usage
- operate and verify torque of torque wrenches
- follow labeling and stamping requirements for various customer products
- follow procedures for prep and unprep component masking materials in manufacturing instructions
- demonstrate proper techniques in operating manual tape dispensers, brushes, hot melt glue guns, air-powered dispensers, syringes to dispense RTV's, epoxies, spot mask or other adhesives
- follow applicable customer’s coating requirements in performing inspections and touch-up of conformal coatings per manufacturing instructions

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Constantly walk, finger, grasp, feel 90-100% of the time; frequently stoop, reach, push, lift, talk, hear and do repetitive motions 60-90% of the time.
Miscellaneous: Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages. Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions. Work Environment: The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume in order to be heard above ambient noise level. The Team member is subjected to atmospheric conditions including odors 90-100% of the time and is required to wear a full face respirator, gloves and apron. Safety is a core responsibility of this position. Team members are expected to perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established procedures. This includes wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), participating in safety training, immediately reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and stopping work when unsafe conditions exist.
