Final Assembler

Dakota Bodies LLC is a manufacturer of custom utility truck bodies, producing a broad range of utility bodies for industries including construction, quarrying, mining, transportation, refining, energy, and utilities.

About the role

This position is the last stop in production before the product goes out to the customer. Responsible for the assembly of final material of the product before it leaves the building. The role involves performing a variety of repetitive operations to assemble mechanical seals, products, and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Read prints
• Identify parts and ship-loose components
• Wire bodies
• Install shelves, dividers, etc.
• Ensure all ship-loose items are accounted for
• Repair minor dents
• Load trailers
• Identify differences in lighting packages
• Adjust all types of latches
• Install windows of all types
• Install vents and fans

Requirements

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Overtime on Fridays
