Assembler II

Position Summary

Carestream has an additional opportunity for Assembler II at its 1049 Ridge Road Manufacturing operations from 6AM to 2:30PM Monday - Friday. This person will be responsible for assembling final assemblies and systems per manufacturing drawings and work instructions. Will help on the manufacturing floor and test production product to ensure proper operation per established test criteria. This position requires strong Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving.

Position Responsibilities

• Build Digital Radiography sub-assemblies within quality requirements.
• Follows written “standard work” processes, accurately records data, and provides input / feedback during team discussions.
• Works effectively with others on the manufacturing floor.
• Engages in FDA Audits, 5S, and compliance activities.
• Operates with direct supervisory support.

Required Skills & Education

• Minimum of HS Diploma or GED and 1+ years applicable experience (manufacturing, warehouse).
• Proven track record of showing up for work on time, putting in an honest 8-10 hour work day, and being respectful to all.
• Electrical and Mechanical Skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving.
• Planning/Organizing/Troubleshooting Problems.
• Change Management (flexibility, versatility, adaptability, dependability, responsibility).
