About the role
The role involves performing various tasks such as reading and interpreting blueprints, operating hand tools, electrical tools, and measuring equipment, maintaining inventory, conducting quality checks, identifying and repairing product defects, and ensuring a clean and safe work area.
Responsibilities
- Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
- Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
- Maintains inventory of product in workstations.
- Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
- Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
- Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience1 or more years of experience within a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
- Experience with any of the following: hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
- Self-directed & action oriented with the ability to work in a team environment to resolve most questions and problems.
- Relevant manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction / facilities experience.
