Assembler I - Insulator

About the role

The Insulator I position is responsible for the proper insulation of all copper and/or steel lines, including all types of insulation utilized for refrigeration systems assembly.

Responsibilities

• Proper utilization and application of a tape measure.
• Ordering the correct type and size of insulation.
• Validation of proper insulation thickness.
• Cutting insulation according to specification sheets.
• Proper application of insulation to piping.
• Proper application of clad insulation to receivers.
• Stocking insulation in the inventory area (non-essential function).

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
