Assembler I- Fiberglass Roller
Goldshield, part of Terex Corporation, manufactures fiberglass parts for Fleetwood, Honda, Daimler, school buses, emergency vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks at its Decatur, Indiana facility. Terex is a global designer and manufacturer of specialized vehicles and equipment.
About the role
A Roller at Goldshield removes air from fiberglass laminate using a roller to support part strength and quality. You will work at assigned chop stations while meeting production and quality expectations, ensure fiberglass, resin, and catalyst mixtures are properly worked into the part, follow safety rules, and maintain a clean, organized work area. You will also support teammates and production flow across assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Remove air from fiberglass laminate using a roller to enhance part strength and quality.
- Roll at assigned chop stations while meeting production and quality expectations.
- Ensure fiberglass, resin, and catalyst mixtures are properly worked into the part.
- Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support teammates and production flow across assigned areas.
Requirements
- Preferred 1-year experience in fiberglass, rolling, lamination, production, or manufacturing.
- Preferred high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to complete the required training period and Goldshield training expectations.
- Ability to roll at assigned chop stations while meeting acceptable quality standards.
- Ability to maintain attendance expectations and follow directions.
- Successful completion of drug and background screening.
Physical Demands
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role as outlined in the worksteps process.
- Ability to work around constant noise levels of approximately 80 dB.
- Ability to work near moving molds.
- Ability to work in occasional extreme heat up to 110 degrees.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch and overtime as needed.
