Assembler I (Deltadyne) Second Shift

About the role

The Assembler I (Deltadyne) is responsible for building basic components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for the aerospace industry. This position is part of the Deltadyne department and will be located in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, and overtime is routine. May be required to work 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM for the first month for training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Measure, build and assemble components per SOPs, schematics, blueprints, engineering orders, and job sheets using basic measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, scale, thermometers, high gauge, etc.)
• Set-up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment within a continuous production/processing operation
• Complete all documentation correctly and timely

Requirements

• High School diploma or local equivalent (i.e., GED). You will be required to provide proof of education
• At least one year of assembly / machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic Math Skills (i.e. Shop Math)
• Computer literate (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel)
• Prior experience working with and mixing chemicals
• Required to stand for long time periods (for a minimum of 8 hours or more), lifting of 30 lbs. frequently and the ability to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals
• Bending, lifting, sitting, standing and twisting for long periods of time
• Must pass vision test
