Assembler I
Job Summary
Perform limited electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature.
Essential Functions
- Assembles and/or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation.
- May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connections.
- May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment.
Required/Preferred Education And Experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Required Entry level, generally less than 1 year experience
- QSR experience a plus
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints and/or wire lists.
- Must be able to use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Must be familiar with general computer operation.
Preferred
- IPC Soldering Certification a plus
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
Pay
The Hourly Pay Rate For This Position Is $20.00 to $22.00 Factors which may affect this rate include shift, geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
