Assembler I
About the role
As an Assembler I at YCA, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality and meeting production targets.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products or components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly procedures.
- Inspect assembled products for quality defects and compliance with specifications.
- Operate and maintain assembly equipment and machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents (e.g., blueprints, work instructions).
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
