About the role
Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems by performing tasks such as soldering, securing parts with fasteners, and mounting components on chassis panels, following work orders and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders, production drawings, and instructions.
- Position and align parts using jigs or fixtures.
- Join components through crimping, screwing, welding, soldering, or press fitting.
- Mount and connect electronic components and wiring.
- Assemble hardware like caps, switches, and clamps.
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, and cleaning.
- Adjust materials for electrical or dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct online testing and inspections to meet quality standards.
- Use hand tools like pliers and soldering irons with good manual dexterity.
- Rework or reassemble units as needed.
- Follow safety policies and procedures.
- Adapt to other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work overtime on short notice.
- Successful completion of internal soldering certification within six months.
- Multitasking and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
- Adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
