Assembler I
About the role
SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking an Assembler I for a 1st Shift position at our Sumner location. We are committed to Excellence, Integrity, Dignity & Respect, Trust, Engagement, and Passion.
Responsibilities
- Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.
- Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
- Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
- May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
Qualifications
- Fine hand motor skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and a quick learner.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of process specifications.
- Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.
Requirements
- One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.

$22.25-$26.25/hour, full time non-exempt

4:30 am – 3 pm, Monday – Thursday
