Assembler I

About the role

In the Assembly Operator position, you will perform a wide variety of tasks to prepare or build up vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components in a repetitive, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Install parts and components into a gauge or other Polaris product following standard work on an assembly line.
• Perform checks, inspections, and escalate issues to ensure good quality.
• Use and operate various hand tools and production equipment.
• Train and become competent and achieve line rate at all assembly work stations as assigned by lead and supervisor.
• Adhere to all Polaris safety policies and foster a safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship will not be provided.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens.
• Willing and able to work normal shift schedule and occasional overtime including Friday and weekend shifts if needed.
• High school graduate or GED.

Physical Requirements

• Willing and able to perform tasks which include lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, twisting, turning, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, performing strong pinch and grip, push-pulling up to 100 lbs, and standing/walking up to 10 hours per day.
• Willing and able to sit or stand for the majority of shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Performing repetitive tasks up to 100% of the time.

Schedule

Production at the Battle Ground, WA location operates on a 4/10 work schedule Monday – Thursday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays or weekends as needed.

• Shift 1 operates from 5:30 am – 4:00 pm.
• Shift 2 operates from 4:00 pm – 2:30 am.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $19.54 - $20.72
