Support production operations by ensuring timely, accurate movement, staging, and replenishment of materials in a fast-paced HVAC and UV light manufacturing environment. This role is critical to maintaining production flow, inventory accuracy, and workplace organization.
Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods to and from production areas, stockrooms, and shipping locations.
- Stage materials at line-side locations to support daily production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Perform kitting and ensure all required components are available for production orders.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP system, including material movements, receipts, and adjustments.
- Support cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Verify materials against work orders and ensure correct parts and quantities are issued to production.
- Identify and report material shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled inventory locations in alignment with 5S standards.
- Follow standard work instructions and ISO 9001 procedures for material handling and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies in material flow and organization.
- Collaborate with Production Leads, Supervisors, and Supply Chain to maintain efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and safe equipment operation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or Assembling role.
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to become certified.
- Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and inventory.
- Ability to follow standard procedures and work instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, UV light, or light assembly manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with kitting, line-side replenishment, and production support.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory control processes.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
- Active forklift certification.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or 5S practices.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment that is non-climate controlled, with exposure to heat, cold, machinery, and noise.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling of materials.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 1st shift; overtime as required.
