Responsibilities
- Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
- Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
- Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
- Use hand and pneumatic tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, torque guns) with accuracy.
- Measure accurately using tools like tape measures.
- Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
- Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
- Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
- Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
- Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
- Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.
- Standout Qualifications: 6+ months of experience in the manufacturing or general labor industry.

Variable, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations.
- Standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds and up to 30 pounds sustained, bending, kneeling, climbing, or using tools and equipment.
- Visual and auditory acuity needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.
