Assembler I

About the role

The Assembler I position at HuFriedyGroup involves assembling medical devices, performing leak tests, and troubleshooting issues. This role requires adherence to quality standards and compliance with FDA and ISO guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of raw materials and/or production assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Utilize blueprints to set up each build according to work orders.
• Assemble components consisting of machined and purchased parts.
• Perform leak and assembly tests as per work instructions.
• Troubleshoot when assemblies fail testing and communicate with engineering as needed.
• Verify assembly compliance with quality standards before submission to quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and sustain process improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as line-side ideas, kaizens, and projects.
• Execute engineering work requests and special sample requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and/or assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret written instructions.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Qualifications
