Assembler I

Summary

The Assembler I role requires safe operation of assembly equipment to produce the required number of parts that meet quality standards in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of standard operating procedures and processes in assembly
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, drills, air staplers
• Perform visual and dimensional quality checks
• Pack parts according to instructions
• Clearly communicate with lead and supervisor
• Remain safety conscious on the job
• Thorough clean up at end of shift
• Assist with general housekeeping tasks within work area to ensure it is neat, orderly and free from safety hazards
• Assist with 5S projects as needed
• Complete and submit two Lean Improvements per month

Education and/or Experience

• 0-2 years of previous experience in a production facility
• Strong math skills
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well with co-workers
