Assembler - Full-Time

Role Overview

Support assembly operations by ensuring parts are available for scheduled die assemblies and performing various assembly tasks in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review bills of materials to ensure timely availability of parts
• Prepare assembly parts according to orders
• Finish die bodies post-chrome plating and study blueprints to plan fabrication sequences
• Lift, position, and secure parts using hoists or vises
• Fit and assemble parts with machine and hand tools
• File, grind, shim, and adjust parts for proper fit
• Verify dimensions and clearances with measuring instruments
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like 5S and kaizen
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-3 years of industrial experience
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with machining tools and equipment

Physical & Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
