Your Role
Assembler – Foam Shift and Hours: Morning shift
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
What You’ll Be Doing
- Foam Assembly
- Safe use of band saws (vertical/ horizontal), Dye Press, utility knives or other blades to cut foam to customer specifications
- Use production software and other site-specific production line paths to track jobs
- Foam Application
- Adhere hot glue to cases, crates or other pieces of foam using adhesives, glue and hot air to seal foam
- Safe & Efficient Facility Team Member
- Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use
- Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it
- Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts
- Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures
- Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment
What We’d Like to See from You
- Required
- Must have ability to read fractional measurements on mechanical drawings
- Must be accurate with measurements down to 1/16"
- PREFERRED
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Willingness to use saws, heat sealers, industrial hot melt glue, utility knives, machinery and varying textures of foam
- Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number
- Ability to learn new software
