Assembler/Fabricator/Saw Operator

About the role

The Specified Systems is seeking an Assembler/Fabricator/Saw Operator to join their manufacturing team at their Washington PA facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws to cut metal and other materials according to specifications.
• Perform quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet standards.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to assemble components as needed.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions of cut materials.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of saws and machinery.
• Familiarity with aluminum fabrication processes and tooling is preferred.
• Experience with quality inspection techniques and tools, including micrometers.
• Able to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Proficient in using hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay and Schedule

Pay is commensurate with experience. Shift is 8 hours per day.
