Assembler-Entry Level- TEMP

Main Activities/Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble products at a fast pace on a single flow assembly line.
• Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
• Reads written instructions; labels product and packages.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules.
• Cross-trained on different products lines.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Operates any equipment needed to perform the job.
• Performs related duties as needed by supervision.

Competencies

• Frequent sitting, standing, or walking throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Proficient understanding of written and verbal English.
• Strong attention to details.
• Basic computer skills.
• Spanish speaker preferred.

Education And Experience

High School preferred. One year or more of experience in a fast-paced production or assembly position, preferred.
