Assembler - Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

Become IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications. Meet production requirements: Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion/Factory Logix documentation, Pass the Component Identification quiz, Depanel per work instructions, and learn to tape off small components with masking tape for conformal coat process.

Responsibilities

• Perform prepping, stuffing
• Assist the Shipping Coordinator as needed
• Ensure that all products are tagged, bagged, packaged, and labeled properly and in accordance with customer and/or shipper's specifications
• Ship per work instructions and customer requirements
• Perform all computer transactions accurately and quickly
• Ability to navigate several software applications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, as required by job tasks
• Visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed work, including the ability to inspect work under a microscope when necessary
• Must be able to pass a vision exam with a minimum visual acuity of 20/25 in at least one eye, with or without corrective lenses
• Must be able to pass a color vision test to accurately distinguish color-coded components or materials

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20)
• Good verbal and written skills
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified
• 2 years production environment experience
• Paint/taping experience is a plus
