Assembler - Day Shift

Role Overview

Performs assembly, fitting, and joining of heavy and large mechanical components in production, adhering to specifications and schedules. Operates tools, equipment, and machinery safely, supporting quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Accurately documents shipment assemblies
• Supports training of new associates
• Promotes safety and conducts material transactions
• Performs checks, adjustments, minor repairs, and basic welding or painting as needed
• Collaborates with team members to assemble products
• Supports lean activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical concepts, blueprints, and drawings
• Experience with heavy equipment, cranes, forklifts
• Ability to read measurements and use tools accurately
• Dependable, problem-solver, adaptable, and team-oriented
• Effective communicator and able to follow detailed instructions
