Assembler-Day Shift

About the role

This position performs routine assembly in a climate-controlled production environment. The parts produced include window balances, handle sets, and locks.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow written, visual, and verbal instructions
• Operate a computer to fulfill customer orders
• Utilize machines and other equipment throughout the assembly process
• Lift and move up to 35 pounds
• Perform assembly tasks while meeting production standards
• Adhere to all safety rules and quality standards
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Cross-train in other departments as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to communicate with others
• Ability to find and correct safety hazards
• Ability to alternate standing for a 10-hour shift

Pay

$17.00 per hour.
