Assembler/Builder

Responsibilities
- Assembler will be working on assigned production line and will be required to follow SOP for specific job assignment.
- Measure, cut and assemble door units.
- Aid a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Verify materials being used is correct by reading the bill of materials.
- Ensure materials meet quality expectations.
- Palletize, wrap, and label units as needed.
- Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Verifies that components are being placed in the correct position per SOP.
- Repeats tasks until entire door stack is complete.
- Cleans up work area when shift ends.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be familiar with machinery and have good math and measurement skills.
- Must have knowledge of proper door sizes, as well as what a reject door looks like.
- Must read and write English.
- Must have good attendance and safety records.
- Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- This position requires high attention to detail.

- Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team.
- The ability to work accurately, thoroughly and meet deadlines.
- This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and be highly alert at all times.

Pay
The hourly pay rate range for this position is 22.55 + shift differential and benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.
Schedule
2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday - Thursday
