Assembler

Key Responsibilities

• Possess necessary computer skills including MRP/ERP SYSTEM, Outlook email
• Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and incorporate the use of new equipment
• Read/understand blueprints, specifications or other design documents
• Adhere to all Company EHS, Quality, and HR policies and procedures
• Clean products, including removal of coatings, corrosion, or dirt using approved cleaning materials
• Bend tubing per design during the assembly of actuators
• Setup actuators for testing, including any necessary wiring and pneumatic connections as necessary
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Operate company vehicles, fork trucks, cranes, and lifting equipment as required
• Participate in process improvement and problem-solving initiatives
• Operate hand tools as needed to perform deburring and grinding tasks
• Perform general labour work
• Ability to verify operation of and troubleshoot actuators during assembly and testing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required
• AS/BA or Related Degree or Trade School Preferred
• 3-5 years related experience for a Manufacturing Company
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills required
• The ability to complete quality documentation
• Must be able to move about the plant and interface with both office and factory personnel
• Must be able to work on site at the McKeesport, PA facility

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet.
• In certain areas of the facility personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.
