Key Responsibilities
- Possess necessary computer skills including MRP/ERP SYSTEM, Outlook email
- Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and incorporate the use of new equipment
- Read/understand blueprints, specifications or other design documents
- Adhere to all Company EHS, Quality, and HR policies and procedures
- Clean products, including removal of coatings, corrosion, or dirt using approved cleaning materials
- Bend tubing per design during the assembly of actuators
- Setup actuators for testing, including any necessary wiring and pneumatic connections as necessary
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Operate company vehicles, fork trucks, cranes, and lifting equipment as required
- Participate in process improvement and problem-solving initiatives
- Operate hand tools as needed to perform deburring and grinding tasks
- Perform general labour work
- Ability to verify operation of and troubleshoot actuators during assembly and testing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required
- AS/BA or Related Degree or Trade School Preferred
- 3-5 years related experience for a Manufacturing Company
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills required
- The ability to complete quality documentation
- Must be able to move about the plant and interface with both office and factory personnel
- Must be able to work on site at the McKeesport, PA facility
Work Environment
- The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet.
- In certain areas of the facility personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.
