About the Role

This position involves inspecting and cleaning wafers during the quality control process, attaching components onto SA wafers, and testing wafers according to Work Instructions. You will assist the Engineering team in building prototype products and support the wafer calibration process for sensor and semiconductor products.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect wafers (visual inspection; microscope experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Set up wafers/products into fixtures and calibration equipment
  • Load and run equipment, collect calibration data
  • Perform basic data analysis and document/report results
  • Use computer tools daily (Excel, email)
  • Inspect small components/parts under a microscope
  • Assist in the wafer calibration process for sensor/semiconductor products
  • Handle clean room chemicals (IPA, DI water, acetone)
  • Perform light soldering (simple wire soldering only)
  • Use inspection tools (microscope, basic electronic tools like volt meters)

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in electronics or related field preferred; high school diploma acceptable with 3-5+ years of relevant manufacturing/electronics experience
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work and handle small handheld tools like DVM
  • Computer knowledge (use MS Office like Excel, MS Word)
  • Ability to solder small components onto PCB
  • Experience with email and Windows environment
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
  • Manufacturing experience with electronics preferred
  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience or wafer inspection/calibration background is a plus
  • PCB assembly experience is beneficial
  • Most technical aspects are trainable; prior direct calibration experience is not mandatory

Open to entry-level candidates with 2+ years of manufacturing experience and mid/senior candidates with 15-20+ years of experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, Morning shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
