Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembler to join our manufacturing team, specializing in the assembly of glass-to-metal seals. The ideal candidate will support production operations by performing precise assembly tasks, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety and efficiency standards throughout the process.
Position Responsibilities
- Independently assemble various component parts to produce high-quality Glass-to-Metal Seals, ensuring product integrity throughout the process.
- Perform tasks across all job levels (Green, Yellow, and Red), demonstrating versatility and proficiency.
- Verify paperwork, materials, and picking tickets for accuracy prior to beginning assembly.
- Load and unload ovens safely and efficiently as part of the production cycle.
- Document necessary changes and provide product and process feedback to the group lead; perform basic troubleshooting and communicate findings effectively.
- Stay informed and maintain general knowledge of ongoing production issues and updates.
- Conduct inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to support team and operational needs.
Position Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- At minimum 6 months of experience with glass-to-metal seal assembly or comparable small-part assembly.
- At minimum 1-year previous manufacturing experience.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills are essential.
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings accurately is preferred.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle small parts and operate magnifying lenses and microscopes effectively.
