Assembler

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door thresholds to changing specifications.
• Install base, rail, nosing and other parts to sub assembled or fully assembled thresholds and astragals.
• Package and label product to required customer specifications.
• Make simple machine adjustments and changeovers.
• Maintain equipment and work area in neat, orderly condition in accordance with standard work and 5S criteria.
• Perform and document all quality checks as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand throughout the full shift.
• Ability to use hand tools including tape measure, air drill, pneumatics, fixed straight-cut saw.
• Must have flexibility to work occasional overtime.
