Assembler

Position Description

Climate by Design is a place where projects progress from start to finish. You will assemble sheet metal HVAC equipment casings according to job specifications defined in drawings. Using various power tools, you will work as part of a team to assemble sheet metal and other components.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble (construct) sheet metal HVAC equipment casings according to job specifications defined in drawings.
• Use overhead cranes, power tools, wrenches, levels, etc.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Accurately track work hours by job and activity on time card.
• Accept other duties and responsibilities as assigned or when required by customer needs.

Required Education & Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Some experience assembling HVAC equipment is desirable.

Pay

• Day Shift: $18.00 per hour
• Night Shift: $20.00 per hour ($2.00 Night Shift Differential)
• Flex Shift: $18.00 per hour ($0.75 Flex Shift Differential)

Schedule

• Day Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday
• Night Shift: 7:00 pm – 5:00 am Sunday through Wednesday ($2.00 Night Shift Differential)
• Flex Shift: 9am - 10:30pm Monday through Thursday ** You choose your 10+ consistent hours** ($0.75 Flex Shift Differential)
