Assembler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles parts with the aid of verbal instructions, print(s), or sample parts.
• Uses various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns, and power devices to assemble parts.
• Checks parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares, and gages.
• Assembles prototypes with Engineering help.
• Inspects parts for various types of cosmetic specifications.
• Must achieve certification in riveting.
• Must be qualified to assemble at every station and process on the assembly line.
• Must successfully complete basic blueprint reading class.
