Assembler
About the role
The Assembler will perform various tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. The Assembler works under limited supervision, responsible to perform a variety of duties efficiently with high quality results.
Responsibilities
- Static and dynamic balance of rotating assemblies.
- Arrange/handle parts using a forklift or overhead crane.
- Assemble machines per customer specifications/blueprints using standard and special tools. Follow torque specifications. Take and note various measurements.
- Be willing to ask questions to better understand the process.
- Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience with assembly or mechanical ability
Core Competencies
- Strong mechanical ability
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Priorities
- Mechanical Experience is preferred
- Overhead Crane and Forklift Experience is preferred
- Blueprint Experience is preferred
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This position will be based at our site in Bentleyville, PA no travel.
