Assembler

Primary Responsibilities

• Assemble parts for finished product from assembly drawings
• Use hand-tools or machines to assemble
• Debur parts using hand-tools, rotary filers, and machine barrel tumblers
• Use a grinding machine or perform swaging operations, which may require enrollment and compliance with the company’s hearing conservation program
• Fill out inspection, work orders, and process records
• Meet established quality and production levels
• Read simple prints
• Follow work orders and labor tracking process
• Pack, crate, and prepare for shipping
• Inspect own work with standard gaging
• Maintain quality and production standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Work cooperatively with other employees to meet department and company goals

Other Duties

• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors or management to support departmental and organizational objectives.
