About The Position

Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Dometic Land Vehicles Americas provides high-end products for recreational, commercial, and overlanding vehicles in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Seeking a passionate Assembler to join the Big Prairie team.

General Responsibilities

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints, or work instructions.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
• Visually inspects all assembled parts at completion of operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow personal protective equipment procedures.
• Work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Manual lifting up to 50lbs.
• Standing for entire shift.

The Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated success in production
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in reading schedules, work instructions, and BOMs
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related field preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Location

This position works onsite at our Big Prairie facility.
