Essential Functions
- Read and understand all written work instructions (bluebird).
- Verify kitted raw materials (quantity and proper items).
- Follow directions from Lead Operator / Supervisor.
- Learn and execute all required steps of the build process including soldering, punching, potting, trimming, inspection, testing, measuring, wire stripping, cutting, laminating, bonding, baking, crimping, etc.
- Maintain proper identification / labeling of parts through all process steps.
- Work cooperatively with other departments such as Marking and QC.
- Follow all company policies and all safety guidelines.
- Determine the difference of a good/bad heater, circuit, and wire wound panel.
- Inspect his or her own work to make sure it is acceptable to the requirements and description of the product.
- Average eyesight is necessary.
- Clean raw materials and finished parts using cleaning solutions (such as Isopropyl Alcohol and/or water), air hoses, and cloths.
- Pick heater pads to expose area to solder/weld.
- Prepare PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) application and the bladder press for PSA.
- Tape heaters on boards for potting/conformal coating.
- Cover leads-potting, conformal coating, under cover with patches, or doghouse.
- String heaters and terminate leads with copper crimps.
- Operate Spartanics and die clicker machines.
- Cut required materials
- Keep work area clean and organized: sweep, mop, wipe, and put items in proper place.

Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Basic Math knowledge.
- Welding in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with and the ability to execute all required steps of the build process including soldering, punching, potting, trimming, inspection, testing, measuring, wire stripping, cutting, laminating, bonding, baking, crimping, etc.
